Blaze Digital Banking

We recommend paying your loan through Blaze Digital Banking. You can make a one-time or recurring payments from either your Blaze account or an account at another financial institution.

Payments from your Blaze account will be applied instantly and those from another financial institution are applied within three business days. 

To make a payment, log into Blaze Digital Banking and from the Transfer & Pay menu, select Loan Payments.

To add an account from another financial institution, from the Transfer & Pay menu, select Manage External Accounts.

Online Payment Center

If you have not activated access to Blaze Digital Banking and cannot use Bill Pay at your other financial institution, you can make a one-time payment using a routing & account number or debit card (not credit card).

A fee may apply for payments made from the Blaze Online Payment Center. The maximum payment amount is $3,500 and payments are applied within three business days.

Not available for Blaze credit cards or commercial loans. Cannot be used to make your final loan payment. 

Payments made after 4:00 p.m. will process on the next business day. 

Automated Phone Service

Blaze members can call 651.215.3500 and choose Make a Loan Payment to access our automated Pay-by-Phone service. You will need to know your Blaze loan account number. 

You can make a one-time payment from another financial institution using your routing & account number or debit card (not credit card).

A fee may apply for payments made with the Pay-by-Phone service or over the phone with a Blaze employee. Payments are applied within three business days.

Not available for Blaze credit cards or commercial loans. Cannot be used to make your final loan payment.

You can pay your loan in person by visiting your nearest Blaze branch or drop off your payment any time by using the night depository box.

Bill Pay from Another Financial Institution

You can make a loan payment from other financial institution’s Bill Pay service. Most financial institutions offer Bill Pay as a free service.

You will need to know your loan account number. Blaze's routing number is 296075933.

Yes! You can transfer money to an external account by logging into Blaze Digital Banking. From the Transfer & Pay menu, select Manage External Accounts.

Once your external account has been added, it will appear as an option when selecting Transfer Money or Loan Payments from the Transfer & Pay menu.

To obtain the verbal payoff amount on your loan, please contact us by phone at 651.215.3500 or stop into your nearest Blaze branch.

You may mail a check made out to Blaze Credit Union with "payoff" and your loan number or VIN written in the memo line of the check to make a regular or overnight payment:

  • Full name of primary borrower.
  • Loan account number.
  • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
  • Payoff good-through date.
  • Fax number or email you would like the payoff statement sent. 
  • Signed third-party borrower authorization form.

Vehicle Warranty through Route 66

Your request for Letter of Guarantee should include a Settlement Breakdown and an Evaluation Report if available.

Please ensure your coverage includes both comprehensive coverage and collision coverage. Your maximum deductible can be no more than $1,000.

If you received a letter saying Blaze needs verification of your vehicle insurance, please visit the myinsuranceinfo.com site.

Make sure you are sending in a copy of your Declaration page of your policy and NOT a copy of your Insurance ID Card. Your Insurance ID Card does not have all of the required information, and it will not clear the issue.

The site may ask for a Reference ID number. If you received a mailing it will include that number on the letter. If you don’t have a reference ID number, please click "I don’t have ID reference number."

Alternatively, you can send your insurance declaration page to the below email or fax if you cannot upload it to the website.

If your loan has had insurance placed, allow 2-3 weeks for your refund to go back to your loan and for your monthly payment to be adjusted back to the original amount.
