What's the difference between 'Available Balance' and 'Current Balance' in digital banking?
The difference between the ‘Available Balance’ and ‘Current Balance’ on a checking account in Blaze Digital Banking is usually due to purchases made with your Blaze debit card. At the point of sale, the merchant electronically checks your checking account to determine if funds are available. The amount requested by the merchant is held in your account - noted in Blaze Digital Banking as a deduction from your Available Balance.
For your share savings account, a required $10 minimum balance represents your credit union share and entitles you to all of Blaze's benefits. This will be reflected in your Available Balance.
